This wedding
theme was
inspired by the maid Marian character in avariety of Robin Hood movies
i've viewed over the years and the gathered ribbon tendrils that I
found
on one of my fabric hunts. My first original design in a series
of
wedding gowns in progress.
A delicate
rose embroidered
border slips off the shoulders to gently drape over the bodice back of
this original design wedding gown. The crushed satin is a pale
cream
colour with hand sewn rose borders on gathered ribbon and decorated
with
gathered tulle and tied bowes of fine ribbon.
The gown's
shape is
held by a lace trimmed tulle underskirt with a delicate rose embroidery
trim and lace.
The veil is a
double
layer of fine tulle with finished edges fastened to a rose embroidered
head band with gathered ribbon tendrils. Top layer of veil can be
pulled over the head.
A hand held
flower bouquet
in white, pale green and dark green flowers adds a hint of colour.
On a chilly
winter's
eve, a fully lined floor sweeping cape with a genuine white fox fur
shoulder
band completes the outfit. Cape closes with delicate embroidered
hooks sewn on the inside.
